NAWOJ Forges Partnership with Education Quality Assurance Directorate to Empower Girl-Child Education

The delegation, led by NAWOJ Chairperson, Comrade Adesuwa Ehimuan, sought to explore areas of partnership in promoting education, with a focus on girl-child empowerment.
Comrade Ehimuan commended Dr. Uhumwangho's appointment, describing it as a testament to her dedication and passion for education.
She emphasized that NAWOJ sees Dr. Uhumwangho's leadership as an opportunity to amplify advocacy for girls' and young women's rights. The association proposed collaboration to address challenges hindering girls' education, including reducing dropout rates, promoting STEM education, and building girls' confidence for future leadership roles.Dr. Uhumwangho expressed gratitude for the visit and praised NAWOJ's role in amplifying the voices of women, children, and vulnerable groups.
She highlighted the Directorate's achievements, including a statewide quality assurance framework, teacher training, and curriculum reforms.
