A Message of Unity and Gratitude: NUJ Chairman Felicitates with Muslims on Eid al-Fitr

The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council, Dr. Festus Alenkhe, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community in Edo State on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a heartfelt message, Dr. Alenkhe prayed for the rewards of their sacrifices and the answers to their prayers during the fasting period. He expressed his desire for the Eid al-Fitr celebrations to bring peace, joy, and countless blessings to the people of Edo State.

Dr. Alenkhe also offered special prayers for Muslim journalists in Edo State, seeking Allah's guidance and protection as they discharge their duties with diligence and integrity, upholding the ethics of the journalism profession.

As the Muslim community gathers to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, Dr. Alenkhe wished everyone in Edo State and their loved ones a joyous and blessed Sallah, filled with unity, gratitude, and barakah.

In addition, the NUJ Chairman seized the opportunity to appeal to the people of Edo State to continue supporting and cooperating with security agencies in their efforts to rid the state of criminal elements. 

He emphasized the importance of providing useful information to the police and other security agents to help check the activities of criminals and ensure a safer and more secure environment for all.
