As the world marks Oral Health Day, Mrs. Edesili Anani,Coordinator of the Office of the Edo First Lady,emphasized the importance of cultivating a healthy oral lifestyle.

 Speaking at the Government House in Benin City, Mrs. Anani stressed that good oral health is vital for overall well-being and quality of life.

She highlighted the consequences of poor oral health, including tooth decay, gum disease, and even heart disease. 

Mrs. Anani encouraged the staff to prioritize oral health by adopting simple habits such as regular brushing, dental check-ups, and limiting sugary snacks and drinks.

By making these habits a part of daily routine, individuals can significantly reduce the risk of oral health problems. 

The engagement was well-received by the staff, who pledged to maintain a consistent oral health culture always 

World Oral Health Day is celebrated annually on March 20th to promote global awareness of oral hygiene and dental health. 

The day aims to empower people with knowledge, tools, and confidence to secure good oral health.
