The Omandino Community in Delta State has welcomed a new leader with the installation of Pa Edemadiden as the Olare-Aja, or the eldest man. The ceremony, which drew a large crowd of well-wishers from across the Warri kingdom, took place at the Nenuwa Hall in Omandino.
In his acceptance speech, Pa Edemadiden expressed his gratitude to the Almighty God for this honor, acknowledging that it was only through divine providence that he was able to attain this esteemed position.
He also thanked the members of the Omandino Community for entrusting him with this responsibility and appreciated the guests who attended the ceremony from various communities.
Pa Edemadiden emphasized the importance of collective responsibility and stewardship, urging everyone to work together to develop the community and build a brighter future. He pledged to uphold fairness and justice in his role, promising not to show favoritism or bias.
Pa Edemadiden's installation comes shortly after the passing of the previous Olare-Aja,at the age of 98 years.Elder Omasan Edukugho, who left a legacy of wisdom and leadership. As the new Olare-Aja, Pa Edemadiden is poised to lead the community with wisdom and integrity.
