UBTH Strengthens Ties With Federal Government: CMD's Visit To SGF Aims To Enhance Healthcare Delivery

Habiba Sam The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Prof. Mrs. Idia Nibokun Ize-Iyamu, has paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), His Excellency, Sen. Dr. George Akume. 

This meeting marked a significant step in strengthening the relationship between UBTH and the Federal Government, with a shared goal of advancing quality healthcare delivery in Nigeria.

During the visit, Prof. Ize-Iyamu reaffirmed UBTH's commitment to providing world-class medical care to the people of Edo State and beyond. 

She highlighted the hospital's achievements and challenges, and expressed her desire to collaborate with the Federal Government to address the healthcare needs of Nigerians. 

The SGF, Sen. Dr. George Akume, welcomed the CMD's initiative and assured her of the Federal Government's support in promoting quality healthcare delivery.
