Association (NBA) Benin Branch has hailed the association's National Executive Council (NEC) meeting as a shining testament to the unity and collective determination of NBA members. 

In his welcome address at the NEC meeting held in Benin  recently, the Chairman of the NBA Benin branch, Idemudia Iredia-Osifo, commended the NBA President, Afam Osigwe, SAN, for his visionary leadership, which has significantly strengthened the association's structure and advocacy for the rule of law and citizens' rights. 

Iredia-Osifo noted that the NEC meeting was a crucial milestone in the association's journey, providing a platform for members to come together and chart the way forward for the organization.

The NBA Benin branch chairman highlighted the importance of the NEC meeting, which aimed to reflect on the association's journey, evaluate ongoing reforms, and identify pathways for a more resilient and impactful NBA. 

He emphasized that the meeting would provide an opportunity for members to deliberate on various matters affecting the association, including professional conduct, institutional efficiency, welfare measures, and public interest interventions. 

According to Iredia-Osifo, the meeting was essential in providing direction for the association's work, particularly in strengthening internal structures and shaping national conversations.

Iredia-Osifo also emphasized the importance of collective resolve in defending the rule of law, upholding ethical standards, and promoting justice for all. He noted that the NBA has a critical role to play in ensuring that the rule of law is upheld and that justice is served. 

The Benin branch expressed its commitment to continuing its strategic role in advocacy, professionalism, and institutional memory within the NBA family. The branch pledged to work closely with the national leadership to ensure that the association's objectives are achieved.

The NEC meeting is expected to feature deliberations on various matters affecting the association, including professional conduct, institutional efficiency, welfare measures, and public interest interventions.
