The International Women's Day event, with the theme "Rights, Justice, Action for all Women and Girls", brought together women from all spheres of life who have attained certain heights in their chosen careers. The theme of the conference was "Taking Action for Justice and Rights of Women and Girls".

The Chairman of the Occasion, Prof. Sa'adatu Liman, Vice Chancellor of Nassarawa State University, Keffi, in her address, welcomed all participants and congratulated the awardees. The Royal Father of the occasion was His Royal Highness Oba Dr. Adetayo Haastrup, the Olumobi of Imobi, Ijesha Land, Osun State.

Tsaye Mene, a prominent Niger Delta activist and a respected voice in the defense of Itsekiri ethnic identity, territorial rights, environmental preservation, and political representation, dedicated her award to the Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths Association (UIYA) for their commitment to the growth and development of Warri kingdom.

While appreciating the management of Advanced Academy for the recognition, she said, "I'm truly honored and humbled to receive the 'Icon of Social Justice and Leadership Service Award' on this special International Women's Day. This award isn't just a recognition of my work, but a testament to the power of collective efforts towards creating a more just and equitable society.
I accept this award with gratitude and rededication to continue advocating for social justice and empowering women and girls. I'm motivated to continue pushing boundaries and inspiring change. I dedicate this award to the Itsekiri Youths worldwide and all other youths and women across the globe lending their voices in the face of glaring opposition for a better society. God willing, our work would not be in vain."
