Edo First Lady's Coordinator Inspires Muslim Women To Embody The Spirit Of Ramadan

Mrs. Edesili Anani, Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady of Edo State, recently hosted the Coalition of Edo Muslim Women Association at the Government House, where she emphasized the importance of adhering to the principles of Ramadan.
Anani stressed that Muslims must not only obey the tenets of Ramadan but also instill these values in their children, ensuring a bright and morally sound future for the younger generation.
Anani commended the association for their tireless efforts in supporting women across Edo State, acknowledging their role as a pillar of strength for many.
She also expressed gratitude for their visit to the Government House, where they offered prayers for the state government, Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo, and the entire Edo State.
The Coordinator underscored the significance of women's participation in politics, emphasizing that their voices must be heard.
She reminded the association members that the system's foundation lies in the family, local government, and state, making it crucial for women's voices to be represented at all levels.
Hajia Ziliatu Osagie, matron of the Coalition of Edo Muslim Women Association, explained that the purpose of their Ramadan visit was to offer prayers for the peace, progress, and development of Edo State.
The visit culminated in a prayer session led by the association's spiritual leader, Hajia Nanafatimah Oshigwe, followed by a photograph session.
Anani's remarks and the association's visit highlight the importance of collaboration and mutual support between the government and community organizations in promoting the well-being and development of Edo State.
