Gov. Okpebholo Celebrates Children's Day, Pledges Support For Edo's Young Ones

As Children’s Day is commemorated across Nigeria, Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has extended warm greetings to all the state's children, recognizing them as the future leaders and treasures of the state. 

In a heartfelt message, the Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to nurturing the potential of Edo’s children by providing quality education, protecting their rights, and creating opportunities for them to thrive.

Governor Okpebholo emphasized that children are precious assets whose dreams hold the key to a brighter future for Edo State.

He highlighted his administration's initiatives to upgrade school infrastructure, protect children from abuse and exploitation, and empower the youth to become productive citizens. 

The Governor stressed the importance of collaboration between parents, guardians, teachers, and the government in guiding children and instilling values that will shape their future.

The Governor also called on parents and guardians to discourage their children from joining cult groups, emphasizing the need to protect them from activities that could hinder their progress. He encouraged children to pursue education, aim high, and strive for excellence, assuring them of his administration’s unwavering support.

Governor Okpebholo’s message reflects his administration’s dedication to creating a safe and nurturing environment where Edo’s children can grow, learn, and realize their full potential. 

By investing in education and protecting children’s rights, the Governor aims to empower the next generation to contribute meaningfully to society and build a brighter future for Edo State.
