The Labour Party in Edo State has successfully concluded its primaries, and Mr. Paul Omo Okojie has emerged as the party's Senatorial Candidate for the Edo Central Senatorial District. 

This development paves the way for the August by-elections, where Okojie will represent the Labour Party.

Under the leadership of State Chairman, Rt. Hon. Elizabeth Ativie, the party conducted transparent and peaceful primaries, also unveiling Comrade Franklin Agbonohenhen Uyi as the Labour Party's Candidate for the House of Representatives, Ovia Federal Constituency.

The State Publicity Secretary, Airen Igbinedion, congratulated the flagbearers, highlighting their leadership capacity, integrity, and vision for a better Edo State. 

The Labour Party reaffirmed its commitment to justice, equity, and people-centered governance.
