Edo Lawmaker Showcases Commitment to Education and Community Development"*

Hon. Bright Iyamu, the representative of Orhionmwon-South Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, recently conducted an inspection of a newly constructed three-classroom block at Ofunmwengbe Primary School, Ugboko-Niro, in Orhionmwon Local Government Area.

 This project is part of his constituency intervention efforts aimed at enhancing the quality of education in the area.


During the visit, Hon. Iyamu interacted with the pupils and was given a tour of the school premises by the Head Teacher, Mr. Odigie Endurance. 

The school's head expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Iyamu for his dedication to improving the learning environment in rural communities.

- *Construction of Perimeter Fence*: To enhance security for pupils and teachers

- *Installation of Borehole*: To provide clean water within the school environment

- *Solar-Powered Streetlights*: To improve public lighting and promote community wellbeing

- *Industrial Borehole Facility*: To ensure access to clean water for the community


Hon. Iyamu also visited Urhonigbe-North and South Wards, where he assessed strategic locations for the installation of solar-powered streetlights and industrial borehole facilities. 

He assured the community that work on these projects would commence soon, further demonstrating his commitment to community development.


The lawmaker concluded his visit with a courtesy call to the Okaevbo of Urhonigbe, HRH. Pa Ehigiator Osahuwunowan, JP, reiterating his dedication to sustaining visible and people-centered development across all wards in Orhionmwon-South Constituency.
