EDHA Speaker Lauds EDHASC For Providing Bus To Enhance Staff Mobility

Habiba SamRt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly,  has commended the Edo State House of Assembly Service Commission (EDHASC) for acquiring a new bus to ease staff transportation, showcasing their commitment to staff welfare.The Speaker made the commendation during the commissioning of the 15-seater Hiace Bus, which was purchased by the commission to ease the transportation challenges faced by its staff.Rt. Hon. Agbebaku expressed his appreciation for the commission's efforts, saying, "Let me commend the Chairman of the commission for this initiative, also salute the staff for creating the enabling environment for them to operate.

" He assured the commission that the Edo State House of Assembly would soon embark on the renovation of its building and offices to provide a conducive working environment for the staff.

The Chairman of EDHASC, Hon. Sir Ezehi MD Igbas, explained that the purchase of the bus was a deliberate decision made by the commission to support its staff. 

He noted that the staff were the commission's major focus and that they had been facing difficulties with transportation. 

"The commission therefore decided to allocate its resources to acquire the bus to enhance the staff's performance"The chairman maintained .

The Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ibhamawu Jonathan Aigbokhian, commended the commission for its commitment to improving the welfare of its staff. 

He exhorted the staff to utilize the bus responsibly and maintain their high standards of diligence and dedication, while also wishing for a safe and accident-free journey for the vehicle.The commissioning of the bus marks a significant milestone in the commission's efforts to enhance the productivity and efficiency of its staff. 

With this new development, the staff can now focus on their duties without the burden of transportation challenges.

The EDHASC Chairman's initiative exemplifies the commission's dedication to staff welfare and well-being, aligning with Governor  Monday Okpebholo's agenda to enhance the lives of Edo's citizens.
