As the holiday season approaches, Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc has demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the community by donating essential items to vulnerable children and displaced families in Edo State.
The recipients of the donation were visibly moved by the gesture. The Director of Roseluyi Exceptional Students Academy, Mrs. Resemary Isaac-Aluyi, described the donation as "timely and impactful," while Pastor Evelyn Omigie, who received the items on behalf of the IDP camp, expressed gratitude, saying, "Okomu is like an angel sent by God to celebrate Christmas with us in an uncommon way."
Okomu's Christmas outreach has become an annual event, supporting hundreds of households across nearby communities.
The company plans to sustain and expand the initiative as part of its commitment to strengthening community relations and improving the welfare of vulnerable groups.
